The Hub

Preserving & Celebrating
African Culture

Preserving Heritage

The hub will preserve Africa's cultural heritage and showcase the distinct traditions, arts, cuisine, history, and innovations. The hub will facilitate cross-cultural dialogue and deepen understanding of Africa's multifaceted identity through interactive exhibitions, workshops, performances, and events.

Cultural Exchange & Community

It will promote cultural exchange, education, appreciation, integration, and community engagement.

African Brotherhood & Unity

AfriXpressions will cultivate affinity among Africans, facilitate non-political bilateral and multilateral connections, economic collaboration, and commercial cooperation and foster peace and harmony among African nations.

Africa is a land of brotherhood amid diversity. The brotherhood concept is central to Africa's socio-cultural, economic, and political frameworks, which underpin our values and socio-economic and political systems. Africa can sell its homegrown, value-driven systems to the rest of the world, making the world a better place.

The African Storyteller

The hub would also serve as an African storyteller, telling our stories in our unique ways. For too long, we have allowed others to tell our stories dysfunctionally.

"Until the lion learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter."

What Drives Us

What We Stand For

Pan-African Unity

All 54 nations deserve equal celebration. Every tradition, language, and art form has a place in our archive and on our stage.

Cultural Preservation

We document, exhibit, and safeguard Africa's traditions, arts, cuisine, history, and innovations for generations to come.

Authentic Storytelling

Africa must tell its own stories in its own voice. We provide the platform, the stage, and the archive for that to happen.

Brotherhood & Integration

We cultivate affinity among Africans through non-political cultural connections, economic collaboration, and people-to-people ties.

Creative Excellence

We celebrate Africa's most vibrant creative voices — music, visual art, fashion, film, literature, theatre, and dance — at the highest standard.

Community & Education

Through interactive exhibitions, workshops, performances, and events, we deepen understanding of Africa's multifaceted identity.

Our Home

Visit Rwanda

Rwanda embodies the best of Africa; its strategic location, resilience, visionary leadership, and rich tourism offerings make it an ideal project location.

Air Travel and Flight Interconnectivity

With excellent air connectivity for both passengers and cargo, Rwanda is well positioned to host international visitors. RwandAir and other regional carriers ensure seamless access to the country. RwandAir's extensive route network connects major African cities, including Nairobi, Johannesburg, Lagos, Accra, and Lusaka. Kigali, Rwanda's capital, is strategically located as a key transit point for passengers travelling within Africa and to destinations in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The Bugesera Airport, scheduled for completion in 2026, will boost Rwanda's global connectivity by increasing capacity, making travel more convenient and efficient.

A Symbol of Hope and Resilience

Rising from the devastation of a genocide that claimed nearly a million lives of the ethnic Tutsis, Rwanda exemplifies the possibility of transforming a ruin into a thriving paradise. This remarkable journey of hope and resilience makes Rwanda a beacon of inspiration for Africa and the world. Hosting other Africans in Rwanda underscores the themes of hope and reconciliation across the continent.

Leadership

Under the focused leadership of H.E. Paul Kagame, Rwanda has made deliberate, significant strides toward unity and progress, demonstrating a zero-tolerance policy on corruption. Kigali, the capital, is recognised as the cleanest and greenest city in Africa.

Open Borders

Rwanda has a visa-free policy for all Africans, facilitating movement and integration across the continent.

Safety and Security

Rwanda consistently ranks high regarding safety and security for residents and tourists.

Tourism and Attractions

Rwanda is rapidly becoming one of Africa's top tourist destinations. It offers unique attractions, including Volcanoes National Park, where visitors can see gorillas, golden monkeys, and other primates. The country also offers diverse cultural experiences, including birdwatching, hiking, nature walks, and lakeside relaxation.

Leading Host for International Conferences

Rwanda scores highly on parameters such as political stability, human rights, and the rule of law. The country is noted for its ease of doing business, investment safety, and protection of intellectual property.
